After a successful year of fundraising for the Sherwood Education Foundation (SEF), which saw the Drama department win a grant to upgrade technology for the theater, we are partnering again to fund STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) grants for Sherwood schools and programs.

• All donations and sponsorship fees will be given directly to SEF.

• These donations are tax deductible.

Sponsoring the Pirates is a great way to engage and connect with the community!

With thousands of visitors attending Pirate shows throughout October, 2K+ followers on Facebook, 1.7K+ followers on Instagram, and most of the audience in Sherwood and surrounding cities, our online presence and engagement are robust.

Our Captain-level sponsorships videos garner on average 1K+ in engagement on each platform we post.

There are Four levels of sponsorship available:

What you get:Your business will be the sponsor of our entire street for the entire season. We will have a sign at the beginning of the cul-de-sac showcasing your business as our title sponsor letting all visitors know of your generosity.

• A sponsor-dedicated show on the final Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights prior to Halloween with introduction at the beginning of the show.

• A medallion named for you, hidden as part of the hunt for gold during October (and a personal copy of your medallion for you to keep). With the medallion this year we want to work with the sponsor on when their coin will be hidden and let the sponsor announce that their coin is now hidden. This will push more traffic to the sponsors social media pages in anticipation of these posts and finding these wonderful medallions.

• A Pirates of Pinehurst branding kit which will include logos, stickers, and a thank you for your sponsorship. Perfect for letting your customers know you are a proud supporter of the Pirates of Pinehurst!

• A booty basket named for you that will be given to the child who returned your medallion. (We will accept items from you/your business to include in your basket alongside the standard pirate-provided items.)

• A social media post announcing your sponsorship on the Pirates of Pinehurst Facebook and Instagram accounts.

• Account tags on social media posts referencing the status of your business medallion!

• Your logo on our website as part of our sponsors.

• A recognition credit that plays on the video screen on show nights.

Seadog Sponsor

The seadog level are businesses and individuals who want to help with the prizes given to the kids who bring back pirate coins and medallions and the children who come to the pirates on Halloween night.

Note, these donations are not tax deductible.

What you give (3 options): 

1. 15 Gift Cards/Business Goods (added to the contents of the booty basket contents given to the kids returning medallions).

2. Candy donations to help the pirates give candy to the many hundreds of kids who come down to see the pirates on Halloween night.

3. Cash donations to fund additional candy and booty basket prizes (recommended $20+).
